Online registration has closed. However, if you plan to attend the conference but have not yet registered , please contact the organization at for further instructions.

Online Registration Instructions

The online service will bring you to the registration web site. This site also offers a Hotel Booking service for a selected list of hotels that are located next to the event (Map with hotel location). Booking your stay in these hotels is voluntary and does not need to be made at the time of registration. Alternatively booking can be made by most of the major online services such as "" or "" that include all possible price ranges. In case you have already registered and would like to book one of the listed hotels on the registration form, please at your convenience (but before April 19th) contact the organization to arrange the hotel reservation.

Once you have registered, please check your email where you will receive a summary of your registration information.
If you don´t receive the email, please contact us ( to check if your registration was properly completed.

**Please note that the registration is considered valid only when the payment of the conference fee has been received.
**Registration will close on May 6th, 2013.
After the closing date, registration will be possible only for special cases by contacting the Organizers.

Conference fee
An early registration fee of 400€ applies for registrations with payment completed by April 21st, 2013.
After this date the fee will be 450€.
There are a limited amount of fellowships mainly for students to cover this fee. In order to apply, please send your nomination before April 25th, together with a letter from your advisor (in case of students) to the Organization ( A decision will be communicated via e-mail.

Registration fee includes:

  • Conference opening and welcome reception on Monday, May 13th, 2013 (Barcelona City Hall)
  • Social Cocktail on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 (“Museum Fundació Tàpies”)
  • Conference Gala Dinner on Friday, May 17th, 2013 (Restaurant “el Chipirón”)
  • Coffee breaks during the conference
  • Internet connection in meeting rooms and access to a Computer Room with PCs and printers.

Accompanying Person

There is a registration fee for all the companions. You will have the opportunity to choose a companion option at the online registration site.
These options are:
  • Full Social Program: 100€ (Welcome reception City Hall, Social Cocktail Fundació Tàpies and Dinner “El Chipirón”)
  • Only Gala Dinner: 50€ (Friday, 17th May 2013 : Dinner “El Chipirón”)


Though morning and afternoon coffee breaks are included, lunch and dinner are not.
Many eating options are available within walking distance of the conference venue and in the hotel itself.
The Organization will provide a convenient list of restaurants and snack bars in the area.


In addition to the Wi-Fi service offered by the venue, wireless access will be provided in the meeting rooms and a Computing room with several PC and printers will be available for participants.

Methods of Payment

Payment is accepted by credit card or by bank transfer.
  • Credit Card: Visa and MasterCard are accepted via the online registration form. If you wish to pay by American Express, you can do so by contacting the organization (email: and requesting to do so. You will be charged in Euros (€) and it will show on your bank statement as: IntGrup Congress&Events_ECI.
  • Bank Transfer: If you wish to pay by bank transfer you must choose this option in the online registration form. Please be sure to include your name and surname when making the transfer so it can be easily identified. You must send proof of payment via email to . Without proof of payment your registration will not be processed.


Once you receive confirmation, please review it and verify that it is correct. The options chosen in the online registration form are the sole responsibility of the delegate and not those of the organization. Please remember that without payment your registration will not be considered valid.


You must notify the organization of any cancellations of registration and/or accommodation via e-mail to .
Please remember that there is a 30€ cancellation fee for any registration cancellations more than 30 days prior to the event. If cancellation should occur within 30 days of the event there will be no refund.

You can pick up your badge at the registration desk during the entire conference. The registration desk will open on the afternoon of Sunday 12th May. All persons attending any function of the Congress are kindly requested to wear their badges during all Congress activities. Entry will not be permitted without a badge.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available at the registration desks.

Liability and Insurance

The Congress organizers (IFAE), the Congress Venue (Hotel Catalonia Plaza ) its official appointed agencies for Registration (IntGrup) and any suppliers, representatives or agents linked to the organization of the Congress shall not be held liable by any person for any injury, damage, theft, loss, medical problem or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while traveling to or from, or during such person’s presence in Spain in connection with this Congress.
Participants and their guests are advised to purchase their own insurance against any such occurrences.
